A key feature of the 8051 and 8331 Series Pneumatic Latch Clamps is allowing for sensors to monitor open and close positions. With 2 port options of 1/8” G or 1/8” NPT, these latch clamps offer a holding capacity of up to 600lbs (2669N) on the 8051 Series and 450lbs (2002N) on the 8331 Series, catering to a wide range of applications.

Featuring two cylinder bores of 20mm on the 8331 Series and 32mm on the 8051 Series, these clamps accommodate both round and square proximity sensors to monitor open or closed positions.

Customers have the option to enhance their latch clamps with optional accessories, such as specific sensors and handles, to further optimize their production processes. The versatility of the latch clamps is extended with the availability of the 8051-E, 8051-EH, 8331-E, and 8331-EH models, designed with different handle configurations and port options.

One of the unique benefits of the 8051 and 8331 Series Pneumatic Latch Clamps is the optional handle for manual positioning (-H, -EH). This handle allows operators to manually place the J-hook and secure it, with the pneumatic cylinder automatically opening it.

The sensor-ready features of the 8051 and 8331 Series Pneumatic Latch Clamps enhance their functionality, making them the first latch clamps in the market with the ability to monitor open and close positions.

DESTACO understands the importance of pressure specifications, and the 8051 and 8331 Series Pneumatic Latch Clamps have a max operating pressure of 8.3 bar [120 psi] and a min operating pressure of 2.8 bar [40 psi]. These clamps can withstand temperatures ranging from -23°C (-10°F) to 66°C (150°F) providing reliable performance in various environments.
